Urban Retreat

In Uncategorized by Lilly Cox

We’re delighted to see the opening of a new Urban Retreat stand-alone concept at the White House on Hans Crescent in the heart of Knightsbridge – the realisation of luxury lifestyle where beauty meets hospitality. Bravo to Reena Hammer, managing director, who knows exactly how to offer best-in-class hair and beauty services alongside a roster of the finest, most respected medical and holistic doctors, anti-ageing practitioners and beauty experts.

URBAN RETREAT

Lunching with Reena and George Hammer (a daughter and father duo who lead the way on luxe services in our sector) we were given a private view of the premises, and were knocked out with their refurbishment of a former residence. Here, nestled just behind Harrods, they have conspired to create a real spiritual home for Urban Retreat. The elegance yet intimacy of the building makes is both relatable and relaxing in equal measure. Here is somewhere that guests can feel part of a community whilst enjoying the most prestige services in hair, beauty and health.  A 13-seat salon and colour room are proudly set on the first floor. Browse our gallery to see what makes it so special! Most excitingly, as well as regular salon services with colourist Tracey Gallagher heading the team, Urban Retreat is also the London pied-a-terre for Frédéric Fekkai Atelier, and it will be the only stockist for his eponymous luxury haircare range and his newest collection, the Pure Collection by The One Atelier Fekkai.
