Salons are back to business safely and TIGI is thrilled to welcome back the hair community throughout the UK. It has been a tough period for the industry and still is. Over the past few months, the brand has worked hard towards finding solutions to best support their clients during this unprecedented time.
Supporting the salons
TIGI understands the challenges that salons face due to COVID-19 and have provided immediate support solutions to them, including sharing resources and relevant information around government guidelines. Here’s the list of the key initiatives the brand is running for their salons to safely and successfully welcome back their community:
- Industry Support
If salon partners are looking for support or guidance on matters surrounding pay, legislation, employment or any other aspect of running and maintaining their business, TIGI has collected the most important facts.

- Education Support
TIGI is doing everything in their power to continue to help and inspire their partners during this time. The international and UK creative teams have activated a program, where TIGI’s top stylists offer weekly education sessions to upskill hair stylists on TIGI Fuse and social channels, such as Instagram.

- Social Media Support
As soon as salons closed, the TIGI support team delivered a complimentary social media kit with videos and images to their salon partners. This allowed them to inform their clients on topics, such as re-opening news, making appointments, driving business and styling inspiration via their IG and Facebook channels.

Chris Miller, Country Manager of UK & Ireland at TIGI comments: “At TIGI, our hairdressers are at the heart of everything we do and despite these uncertain times, we are so excited to welcome back our community and want to support them every step of the way. With the introduction of TIGI’s first-aid activities, we are confident that we can master this challenge together and be optimistic about the future success of our salons. At TIGI you are not alone and we will be stronger together.”
We are glad to see brands standing along salons and stylists; it’s one more reminder of what a strong and caring community we are and of how important it is to stick together during such times.
