We are delighted to announce that the Precision Cutting Championship for UK and Ireland is officially over and we have a winner! Bravo to everyone who entered; the competitors worked hard and impressed everyone with their precise cuts and diverse looks. Especially the 5 finalists did such an amazing job. But the one and only winner and Champion of PCC UK and Ireland is Yonick Filopoulos (@yonick84). Congrats, Yonick!
Yonick will scoop many prizes including hairdressing equipment, a place on a cutting course run by Rush with Palmer & Company, Toni&Guy courses, tickets to Tribu-te Show 2021 and many more. And of course, there’s a trophy and certificate waiting for him. Yonick will also be the guest in one of the Respectfully podcasts soon where he will share his experiences throughout all the phases of the competition. He will also be featured in one of our articles, so that we all learn more about his background and career, and we will be seeing him in a Facebook Live soon.
Until then, this is what he said to us:
“Competing on foundation techniques using doll heads and no digital help can be unforgiving. It was an honest effort from my side on a tough elimination process. So, coming on top at the end felt great. I feel grateful towards the organisers, sponsors, judges and fellow competitors for this amazing opportunity.”
Good job, Yonick; Tribu-te is wishing you all the best with your next steps in the industry and your future plans!
