The Hunter Collective

Inside the Collective

In Uncategorized by Lilly Cox

It’s a year since we first visited a cool new workspace proposition; the Hunter Collective, London EC1. Described as a ‘co-working studio and event space’, the HC is a great resource for hairdressers and brands wanting a place to run a column, or hold classes, or launch products, as you can hire a chair or a room on an as-needs basis. Very 21st Century, we feel. Returning for a second look recently we were impressed by the revised and upgraded assets and resources on offer, and interested to see how this innovative company was faring.

Hunter Collective: The proposition

Hunter Collective is a superbly designed and furnished 2000 sq.ft. space, kitted out with hair, beauty and fashion experts in mind. Owner Lacey Hunter-Felton is thrilled with how it’s being received, and her enthusiasm is infectious.

We are evolving the environment for freelancers to build their businesses whilst working with their clients, alongside fantastic, unique events,” Lacey explains. ” We are actively looking for exceptionally talented stylists and barbers to join our community.”

The membership of HC is a simple, transparent £100 a month which includes 5 hours of chair time. Members pay a flat rate of £20 for the chair hours they use, no commission is taken by HC. Based at 143-145 Farringdon Rd, London EC1R 3AB this could be an accessible, valuable resource for anyone putting together a portfolio career.

Lacey tells us: “Our members are independent, experienced experts who love their work and thrive at Hunter Collective.”

Good luck for the next year! #tributeloves
