Here’s the detail: Customize Your Agricolor is a progression for the much-loved Oway colour portfolio called Agricolor. From the outset, Oway created Agricolor using foundations of agriculture i.e biodynamic ingredients, so you can be sure it isn’t harsh on the environment.

Moving forward with with Customize Your Agricolor, you can use different shades to discover a buildable mix for a tailored colour effect. The key is in playing with tone heights. Simply adjust the amount of pigments used for a soft toning or a deep effect. With the Customise your Agricolor approach, you really can choose the exact result you want; we like how this sounds.

A very special touch
Reflecting the artisan way of creating and applying colour, Oway’s Customize Your Agricolor service includes a specially-designed terracotta bowl to work with. It is handmade by Italian artisans and encourages the process of mixing colours to become a ritual. Simply add the master, colour brush – plastic-free and also made in Italy. To show reverence to the colouring activity, a wood Customize Your Agricolor box offers a beautiful store for your tools. It emulates a herbalist’s cabinet, fruit and vegetable crate or toolbox. How lovely.
The line up
Now for the detail… newly reformulated, there are 10 natural bases and two super-bleaching choices in the Customize Your Agricolor line up. Plus:
- New Agriclear – a new universal agricosmetic base which you can mix with toners for different effects
- New Agriflavor – a new permanent agricosmetic pigment with two double (warm and cool intensifiers) and seven original (primary and secondary pigments) for creating all types of tones and shades. There are four toners and three taste pre-mixed pigments for creating softer shades
- Agricatalyst – now comes with 10 vol, 20 vol, 30 vol, 40 vol and Agritone – 6 vol
Let’s take a look inside:
The Customize Your Agricolor formula now includes a distinguishing active ingredient: ash tree sap. This gives the hair hydration and protection while performing a beneficial effect on the scalp, which the alkaline hP may stress during the application process. Agricolor also contains:
- Biodynamic sage macerate, a soothing antioxidant with moisturising and revitalising properties
- Hydrolyzed proteins of hemp and rice, which stimulate the hair keratin
- Plant-derived esters contribute to making the hair colour process less aggressive
Oway condensed the Agricolor range to offer fewer colour choices yet endless mixtures, emphasising your skill and imagination to personalise a colour for each client. Oway says the enhanced performance of Agricolor now ensures longer-lasting coverage.
Ethically conscious approach
Importantly, Oway created colours with an ethically conscious approach. ‘At Oway, everything comes from the earth and is created by humans.’
