Students at the second edition of The Art of Session Hairstyling in London earlier this year were in for a special treat. Running the seminar, session stylist Anna Cofone had arranged for esteemed photographer Jack Eames to call in. Not just as a guest you understand, but to photograph the finale show of models. Wowser… learning from the best, then being photographed by the best. That’s quite a coup!

We’ve been following the journey of Anna’s masterclasses – run in support of her CIC Hair & Care project. They comprise two days packed with education on techniques and etiquette for session styling. Importantly these seminars are small groups over two days and culminate in a tutorial workshop where you can show your skills. To have Jack Eames arrive as a surprise and take your model’s portrait is invaluable. Here are the looks from a group in Spring 2024. We’re impressed!
