As we reboot our creativity going forward, let us highlight how the Toni&Guy family came together late last year with a progressive broadcast to show the way into 2022 They used their learnings and inspiration from the previous 12 months in one big spectacular showcase ‘Global Live Event’ watched live by more than 5,000 viewers.
Showtime at Toni&Guy
The one-hour session saw teams from all over the world present the newest brand campaigns, along with British Hairdressing Award inspirations and collections and a preview of the label.m re-launch. The teams – from countries such as China, Australia and Italy – presented the very best of their creative talents and each member took the audience through the intricacy and inspirations behind their look.
This global thinking from Toni&Guy is a brilliant way of keeping staff morale high and giving everyone a virtual pat on the back for contributing towards such an incredibly innovative and trend-led company. “Throughout the last 18 months, what is most striking is how, as a global family, we have grabbed this time as an opportunity to make ourselves the best we can be,” explained CEO Nigel Darwin.
New moves
The first campaign announcement – ‘Immersion’ – launches this month. It’s a collection of hair fashion trends which celebrates Toni&Guy as a whole through shapes, textures and tones. Looks are showcased on multi-cultural models and created by the brand’s signature, trend-led and timeless techniques at the hands of their very own hairdressers. And the best bit? Each one can be suited to every client. What a crowd pleaser!
Next up was ‘Co-Lab’, to demonstrate how everyone within the brand works as a team. Six individual British Hairdressing Award collections by the International Artistic Team were merged into one to inspire salon hairdressers to work collaboratively together.
And finally, the re-launch of label.m was announced as ‘label.less’. It launches this month, and has the usual premium-feel and encourages unique individuality and self-expression through beautiful, shiny and healthy looking hair. Yes please, we’ll take it.
