We’re interested in the challenge of creating mens collections that do justice to barbering and hairdressing services. It’s quite a balance to create looks that challenge your creativity and show off skills as the cutter/stylist. Yet have street appeal for your client. In this collection Mike Taylor explores the thin line between being chic and being a geek. He describes it as the difference coming down to personal interpretation and what one person will see as chic, smart and en-vogue, another will see as safe, boring and dated. In these looks Mike cleverly combines preppy, plain and everyday styling with sharp contemporary haircuts resulting in images that are both chic and geek in equal measure.
