So pretty we could cry: Notte Stellata means ‘starry night’. It is, says hairdresser Louise Graham, a visual representation of the countless wishes I’ve entrusted to the stars throughout my life. See – so romantic.
Based in Australia at Fruition Style Ambition salon, Louise has the assistance of the formidable Andrew & Kylie O’Toole pairing – he on photography, she on make-up. But not to dim Louise’s talent – her hair work is phenomenal. We love it.
Notte Stellata by Louise Graham
Louise tells us: “Each hairstyle embodies a unique facet of my dreams, from innocent childhood desires like marrying a prince to deeper longings for self-acceptance and reflection. It delves into past memories, exploring their enduring influence and the emotions they evoke—ranging from naivety and hopefulness to darker, more introspective feelings of trepidation. Inspired by artists, architects, and fellow hairdressers, Notte Stellata is a journey that seamlessly weaves together the threads of imagination and reality.”
“From softer, subtle colours that evoke barely formed dreams—like cleaner blonde tones symbolising clouds—to vivid hues that embody passion and rage, each look in Notte Stiletto tells a story. In my creative process, I often find inspiration in poetry, using verses to express the spectrum of emotions encapsulated in my dreams.
“Notte Stellata invites you to join me on a journey through dreams, where the beauty of artistry in hairdressing meets the boundless creativity of personal interpretation.”
Thank you Louise. We love it.
