For the third season running, Authentic Beauty Concept worked wtih hairstylist Gary Gill on the Chloé show at Paris Fashion Week. The Chloé shows are always beautiful. At Paris this season, we loved the flowing shapes in the clothes and natural colour palette echoed in the hair which was allows to fall free and natural. This was mermaid hair undone – more relaxed, effortless and a direction for more refined simplicity.
“The idea is a confident girl who gets up, leaves the house, and doesn’t mind if she sleeps on her hair—it’s all about a real, nice, gentle, and easy feel”, Gary Gill says.
He goes on to describe the synergy between Authentic Beauty Concept and Chloé as“the gentleness of the drawing, the gentleness of the operation. Just as Chloé’s designs are sketched with a delicate yet intentional hand, the hairstyling process mirrors this approach—crafted with softness, precision, and an effortless touch.”

Step by step
- “Prep: Start by using the Amplify Spray Conditioner which gives just a little bit of movement and that natural bend. Spray it all the way through the hair.
- Dry: Use a dryer to work the product in, enhancing movement.
- Volume: Apply Amplify Mousse at the base to give a little bit of volume at the scalp.
- Texture: Use Airy Texture Spray to add dimension and create an effortless, undone effect.
- Silhouette: Apply Nymph Salt Spray all over the surface to achieve a very soft silhouette.
- Effortless Finish: The idea is a confident girl who gets up, leaves the house, and doesn’t mind if she sleeps on her hair—it’s all about a real, nice, gentle, and easy feel.
- Lift: Use Airy Texture Spray on the edges, going through the hair to give a little bit more lift and refine the silhouette.
- Static Trick: For a finishing touch, use an old-school trick—rub a balloon lightly over the hair to create a bit of static. This effect, combined with Airy Texture Spray, enhances the silhouette and gives the hair a beautifully cohesive finish.”
