Co-director and creative force behind HOB salon group, Akin Konizi’s hairdressing style epitomises the HOB brand: beautiful, simple, and also progressive. The four-time British Hairdresser of the Year champion speaks to Hairtribe about the advent of unisex salons in the 80’s that drew him to hairdressing, and how to win awards by ‘not giving the judges a choice’.
