We have six teams to present at Hair Pieces: The Big One 2023 – each with their own signature style of work to share. They’ll be in the main hall and welcome you to watch, film, ask questions and learn. It’s premium education and entertainment in one.

Enrica Russo winner of The Big One 2023

Currently holder of the overall trophy The Big One 2023 and The Up&Coming One 2023, Enrica is preparing her presentation. She tells us: “Avant-garde is my passion, and hair is my canvas. I want to be part of this extraordinary event to share my personality, my ideas and what I like to do most! I hope you will enjoy this time with me.”

Sanrizz Art Team lead by Rudi and Leonardo Rizzo

International creative director at Sanrizz, Leonardo Rizzo continues his father’s hairdressing legacy, working between his Guildford salon and a VIP clientele in Knightsbridge. Brother Rudi is the company’s artistic director and together with education director Sharon Cox, they’ll be sharing inspiring work at Hair Pieces this year. “We are delighted to be involved in the Hair Pieces event,” they tell us! We can’t wait for their inaugural appearance, too.

They wowed us at LFW SS24 with their session skills, but Miabella Alomasser and Kathryn Dartnell are also exceptional salon stylists. Each is adept at re-working show hair skills into workable salon looks. Together they will deliver fresh, on-trend and engaging hair, and they promise to keep you entranced throughout their presentation.

Simon Webster and the SWH team

On Monday 13th November, at Hair Pieces Simon and the SWH Art Team will be causing a stir with their striking hair work. To celebrate 50yrs of The Wicker Man, Simon Webster has created three looks inspired by the 1973 film. The team cite key inspirations as: Pagan; Wicca; Druidry; Asatru… terms that refer to non-Christian/Abrahamic religions, beliefs. Consider birth, growth, death as a spiritual cycle. The feminine divine, identified as Goddess, Mother Earth, Pacha Mama. Then we have the respect for multiple gods… being polytheistic. All these themes are steeped in the history of ancient cultures across Britain, Ireland, Greece, Rome, Egypt, Scandinavia, Hungary, South America. It’s going to be some show!

This year, Toni&Guy celebrates 60 years in hairdressing. Continually creative, always exciting, the journey for each member of the artistic team is incredible to watch. With a strong heritage in avant-garde looks as well as commercial high street collections and fashion week hair, we’re keen to see what Tomer Nagar and Darja Lätt share at Hair Pieces 2023.

The FAME Team 23

Certain to catch your eyes on the Hair Pieces hall floor, the Fellowship for British Hairdressing FAME Team 2023 has been hitting us up for air time a lot this year. Under mentor Sally Brooks, they’ve created the most gorgeous collections and found new ways to explore and express their individual styles as well as work in a team. This appearance at Hair Pieces 2023 could be the last time you see them live as a foursome… don’t miss it! There will be plenty to make a noise about, we’re sure.
