The new fragrances in the Oribe portfolio are lush – complementing the signature Côte d’Azur (selected by Oribe Canales himself) with the fabulous Desert Land and Valley of the Flowers, launched late last year. And you can take our work for it, because we smelled them!
At the recent Oribe Atelier gathering in London, we had the pleasure of browsing the smelly-lishous range along with enjoying how fabulous the Gold Lust styling products are – perfect for session and salon styling as well as use at home. Let’s tell the story!
Oribe Experience & Signature Session
Tribu-te was invited to join a posse of stylists in central London this week, to meet Oribe Global Educator Mandee Tauber. Fresh in from the USA, Mandee was presenting a masterclass on couture-inspired salon-friendly looks influenced by Fashion Weeks around the world. Cue our chance to watch a top pro at work, admire the results of using the Oribe Gold Lust, and get a preview of the three fragrances in the brand ‘wardrobe.’
Following a ‘this is how’ session, the hairdressers attending were invited to try the looks for themselves. It was highly inspiring. We loved it.
Fragrance and body care
We also see that the fragrance wardrobe is part of a new body care collection featuring fab packaging. As well as the original Cote D’Azure, you can now take a Replenishing Body Wash and Restorative Body Creme in Desert Land or Valley of the Flowers. Not just for clients… great for you, too! Scroll down for a reminder of which characteristics identify each.
The Fragrances
Côte d’Azur, seductively rich and effervescently fresh, the Oribe signature scent awakens with citrusy Calabrian bergamot, la mariposa blanca, or white butterfly jasmine — the Cuban national flower — and sandalwood.
Valley of Flowers, a marriage of Bulgarian rose, peony petals and warm amber that immerses the wearer in a vibrant field of fresh blooms. Embodying the vision of Oribe Canales, the big, bold and colorful scent creates a magical place that provokes rich emotions.
Desertland, bright, crisp notes of juniper berry, desert wildflowers and Texas cedarwood embody the essence of a blooming desert, transporting the wearer to a peaceful and powerful place. This aromatic green scent was inspired by Oribe President and Co-Founder Daniel Kaner’s trip to Marfa, Texas.
Meet Daniel
While at the Oribe Experience, we had the luck to take time and chat to Daniel Kaner, who co-founded the entire Oribe label with the man himself, Oribe Canales. You can read about our conversation HERE
