A new year promises to be exciting for UK hairdressers and quick off the mark with great news is Alfaparf Milano, announcing their ambassador line-up! Joining the highly esteemed Paul Stafford (that name and great haircuts are synonymous) are salon owner and international educator Richard Ashforth, with super session stylist Luke Benson. Yay for this trio – we’re thrilled!

Alfaparf Milano

A brand with an amazing heritage – established 35 years

Alfaparf Milano has long been big news in Ireland but in mainland UK, like a best-kept secret… whispered among those in the know, hoping to keep the treasured brand to themselves perhaps! There are big plans for 2022 and we’re impressed! This is an independent hair brand is the brainchild of Roberto Franchina, based in Italy and with an eye-wateringly awesome colour and care portfolio. Not only did Roberto conceive excellent, high-performance products, but the brand has been quietly getting on with the story of creating sustainable hair solutions with dedication and integrity. People! It’s time to embrace Alfaparf Milano – you’ll be hearing a lot from them this year.

New line-up

Back to the reveal of new names as ambassadors. Award-winning international session-stylist Luke Benson has been appointed Creative Ambassador. He’s got taste and skill in equal measure.  World-renowned British Hairdresser of the Year nominee and co-founder of Saco Hair Richard Ashforth is a big-hitter indeed. Photographic collections, show and education experience, and commercial nous all apply. Richard has taken the role of Educational Ambassador UK & Ireland. Together Luke and Richard join an estimable talent mix with Alfaparf Milano Global Hair Stylist Paul Stafford. It’s like just when you thought a brand couldn’t get more elite, it does!

Richard Ashforth

Richard Ashforth is no stranger to the Tribu-te label. Our guest in 2015 and someone whose work features in our Portfolio. His new role will see him work closely with key accounts to deliver Alfaparf Milano’s education and training, echoes Luke’s excitement; “Saco Academy London are delighted to be partnering with Alfaparf Milano UK and Ireland to provide educational services and support for the Alfaparf Milano group,” he says.
