SeanHanna salons celebrating 40 years

In Uncategorized by Nicky

Circumstances conspired to delay the Seanhanna salons celebrating 40 years in business, but nothing could dampen the vibe when the party finally got going! Yep… we were sad for Sean and his team losing the venue for a well-planned evening last year, and dealing with Covid Lockdown in 2021, stopping them marking four decades in business. But delighted to be among the guests at Fire nightclub recently when our man Sean finally declared the party started. He and his posse of close advisers, a.k.a. daughter Ellie, and friends Tommy, Lloyd and Yesmin were well prepared to share film, a show and awards with the deserving teams from across Sean’s salons in Wimbledon, Cambridge, Worcester Park, Canary Wharf, and Sutton.

What a show

As all all hair events should, the Seanhanna 40th kicked off with a show from the creative team. Colour director Lloyd Court is fiercely funny and fabulous in equal measure, while Yesmin O’Brien’s taste and eye for session work gave us the wow! factor. The new generation team, headed up by Phoebe Carraro and Amy Farrow proved the older talent is in deed sharing their knowhow with the newer kids.

Happy 40th (42nd)!

Following the show, Sean presented his vision for both the company and industry outlining how he expects things to change in the coming years and how A.I. will impact all our lives. Sean says: “I do believe we have some very exciting times ahead as long as we adapt to what today’s client wants from his or her hair salon.

The evening was shot through with film that reminisced (think old film from Sean’s archive), teased and feted the groups history. An audience of staff and invited guests were entranced. This was a highly personal and lovingly made ceremony that demonstrated above all, how committed the Seanhanna team is to every member, and that’s lead by Sean who remains at the top and very much hands-on.
