More than 1,500 devoted Schwarzkopf Professional hairdressers flocked to Studio 21 in Amsterdam. An amazing location for the unveiling of their new SS18 Essential Looks collection and celebration of 120 years of the brand. Pulling out all the stops. The show was a real wow with a fantastic line-up of prestigious hairdressers playing to an enthusiastic crowd.
Opening the show with the SS18 Essential Looks collection:
REinventing hair, Schwarzkopf Professional’s own much-loved ambassadors Lesley Jennison and Tyler Johnston presented each trend. (Random Rebel, Real Me, Beyond Boarders and also IGORA #RoyalTakeOver) with their trademark warmth and charisma. Tyler showcased his precision cuts and session styling prowess. Lesley focused on the origins of Dusted Rouge and Dishevelled Nudes colour palates from the IGORA #RoyalTakeOver trend. Next on the programme, we watched with awe as Arjan Bevers delivered a beautiful, conceptual and artistic presentation .Beyond BLONDME.
Blorange and Smokey Grey
Beginning with a ballet dancer arising from the mist, Bevers created six blonde looks. From blorange to smokey grey we definitely got more than just an ethereal emotion. Hugely popular (and our guests in the Spring issue), x-presion lived up to their hype as one of the most interesting artistic groups around. They presented their Disruptive collection to a rapt audience. Working with IGORA #RoyalTakeOver colour, the guys showcased their revolutionary 3-D pixel technique on stage. They proved that they are no-one trick pony. Finally, Toni&Guy Netherlands, led by the brilliant Indira Schauwecker, also closed the show with their ultra-cool Futurewise collection and some impressive avant-garde work. More than 60 models packed onto the stage for the finale topping off a fascinating evening.
