A hair and fashion fueled evening was had by all at the recent R+Co Connect event, featuring guest artist Karoliina Saunders and designers VIN + OMI.
More than 70 people from the R+Co community gathered at the ALFAPARF MILANO Academy in London for the evening, which saw Karoliina and Vin – one half of the award-winning multi-media designers, consultants, and eco-warriors VIN + OMI – take guests on a journey back to the duo’s most recent fashion show KAOS.
“Both working on the KAOS show and this evening has been such a buzz,” said Karoliina. “I just love the whole ethos behind VIN + OMI as it fits so well with R+Co. It was a pleasure to be able to create a hair look that was both visually impactful and playful, and its opportunities like this that allow us to bring together our creativity and skills to create art.”
Celebrating creative collaboration
During the relaxed event, Karoliina recreated three of the looks created by her and her 20 strong team at the show in February, while she and Stacy Humphreys, UKI Head of Education for R+Co chatted with Vin.
“It was so fascinating to hear how the collaboration happened,” says Stacy. “We all learnt so much about both the creative process between Karoliina and VIN + OMI, and about the incredible social impact projects, campaigns and eco innovation that VIN + OMI are doing in the fashion space, and beyond.”
