The Atelier is a dynamic, one-day event which invites hairdressers to dive into the latest in styling, cutting and color education through live demonstrations and an exclusive hands-on workshop. Key to event is that each is hosted by truly accomplished session stylists – this time it was Christian Ceja-Compin flown in from the USA especially. Hosting an Atelier for a class of British hairdressers, he was delighted to find them eager to tap into his considerable session styling know-how. Christian shared a look from his work at the Cinq a Sept SS18 designer show, as well as teaching two more androgynous, on-trend looks. The Worx photographic studio in West London made the perfect location – utilitarian yet creatively inspiring. Seminar sections were followed by opportunities through the day to join a workshop and try for yourself – on live models – the looks Christian had been revealing.
