Obsession by Christophe Gaillet is a striking collection showing the creative use of colour placement. Inspired by the sun and the wind. Dramatic shapes and bold tones conspire however to be elegant and gentle. Christophe plays with shapes and textures to create hair looks that are like sculptures.
Inspiration
In Obsession, Christophe transports us into his imagination, which is imbued with his travels, encounters and emotions. In the collection, hair becomes a spectacular material Christophe uses to create sculptures. In delicate arabesques, the hair wraps around the model’s faces like vines- like nature regaining its rights. The raw fusions of acid colours electrify the volumes and materials with a surprising harmony. Obsession is a collection inspired by the land of sun and wind.
