New collections with ideas on bridal looks

In Uncategorized by Nicky

Our reality has dramatically changed and as a result of the world crisis, we are currently in a review mode; perhaps a more thoughtful and practical one, probably less vain. Events, parties, galas and weddings are all currently on hold and will be for a few more months. But this doesn’t mean that hairdressers haven’t been creative delivering beautiful work worth sharing. With this in mind, we share here images of three lovely collections with ideas on updos and accessories – ideal for bridal inspiration.

As next summer season is meant to be overbooked with weddings, now it may be a good time for hairdressers to try and practice some new looks. This will result in more updated portfolios – and probably a bigger client list. Feel free to get inspired!

Inspiration

Hair: Olga García, Photographer: David Arnal, MUA: Wilder Rodríguez, Stylist: Aaron Gil

In her collection ‘Spring’, Olga García has been big on hair accessories, which carry on reigning across social media and fashion shows. ”This collection is fresh, young and full of Spring. We wanted to create an elegant but simple collection with a focus on modern but romantic brides” she explains.

Hair by: Gonzalo Zarauza @ Centro Beta, Assistants: Ziorta Zarauza, Marijo Pascual, MUA: Mónica Luis @ Centro Beta, Styling: Eunnis Mesa, Photographer: David Arnal

Gonzalo Zarauza gives his own interpretation of modern bridal updos with his collection ‘Sí, Wedding Dreams’: ”Most women “dream” of a spectacular wedding. That special day they want to shine with their own light and spread their joy to the world. “Sí, Wedding Dreams” is a bridal collection of 21st century, elaborated with new professional techniques that allow us to discover different looks: classic, natural, romantic, innovating and sophisticated. We have finished the hairstyles without any type of ornament, giving all the leadership to the hair and the hairdresser.”

But weddings can be so different from one to another and so can brides. For clients with a more modern and youthful look and a love for casual, effortless and with natural volumes hair, this collection is giving the right vibes and all the inspo needed to create the most effortless looks.

Hair: Ivan Rodriguez, Photographer: Jell Loya, MUA: Thessa Peralta, Stylist: Melissa Webb

‘Messy Effortless’ is the new collection by Ivan Rodriguez and is a collection full of texture, simplicity and movement. ”Consisting of a perfect set of natural colour techniques, current haircuts and different approaches for stylised hair that become the main features of each look. Messy Effortless gives freedom to the hair; it is casual and chic, current and elegant, but above all it is a collection that represents the woman of 2020”. We approve.
