Mark Leeson has been on top of his game for some time now – fact! But that’s not stopping him from grabbing more headlines than ever in 2023 and it’s only Springtime! We’re thrilled to see Mansfield salon Mark Leeson has been named International Artistic Team of the Year 2023 by the International Hairdressing Awards. AND top kudos for scooping the AIPP Collection of the Year for this stunning collection.

The AIPP Trophy drew more than 590 entries this year, from around the world and was hotly contested. It’s presented by the Association Internationale Press Professionnelle Coiffure, with Tribu-te global publisher Mike Vincent as president. Taking a title is certainly a fabulous accolade on the international arena.

Announcing Mark Leeson salon as artistic team of the year, Mikel Luzea, director and founder of the International Hair Awards, and Sergi Bancells, global ambassador of the awards made the presentation in person. The International Hair Awards are sponsored by Revlon Professional, and the announcement made in early March. Competing again on the worldwide arena, it’s a seriously important achievement to be announced the winners.
Commenting on the surprise award, co-owner and creative director of Mark Leeson, Richard Darby said; “Our art team is the jewel in the crown at Mark Leeson. We have so many talented individuals under one roof and to see them recognised on a global stage is such an honour. We can’t believe that the team at the IHA managed to keep this so secret.”
Mark is Global Ambassador for Revlon Professional and alongside Richard Darby and his art team – many of whom have been with him a long time – he has notched up many of the most prized accolades in the hair world.
We can’t wait to see what the rest of the brings after such a flying start!
