Luxe and then some! A new destination salon in central London has an alluring name ‘Linnaean Salon’ and raises the bar in how to create the ultimate client experience! In a large, airy and bright corner premises in Battersea, slap up against the new American Embassy, Elena Tayleur has opened one of the most stunningly well-planned and furnished salons we’ve seen in the capital of cool.
Linnaean Salon
We were intrigued from the off. A brand new salon in the heart of London is claiming our attention big time. Of course, this is due in so small part to the hair team being headed up by model’s favourite, session stylist Ross Cosgrove, and ‘creative being’ Kathryn Dartnell. Wow! What a way to start. In a charming, premium environment, no expense has been spared on the decor and furnishings. The entire project is imagined superbly by company founder Elena Tayleur herself – and client services include make-up and an on-site (vegan options aplenty) lush restaurant. Here visitors are welcome to stay awhile.
Launch party!
At the opening party we mingled with the likes of CEO of Kao (Goldwell & Orbie) Julie Winchester, who supports the venture, Neil Moodie, session stylist sensation, and industry voices and entrepreneurs (who know a thing or two about hair) Jack Howard and MBE Errol Douglas. Oh, and a fab show by the hair team was a perfectly pitched view of how well placed Linnaean is to delivery on-trend and fabulous hair. Bravo to all. We look forward to seeing more to come.
