The 12th edition of the Figaro Awards in Spain has taken place with winners announced!

We like how the winners of the previous year are invited to present the opening show of the Figaro 2021. Here’s a glimpse of the work by Newcomer Hairdresser: David Pastor (Salones CV by Carlos Valiente), Men’s Commercial Collection: Daniel Gallego, Women’s Commercial Collection: SK Style Barcelona, Avant-garde Collection: Jose Siero(Sile Peluqueros), Spanish Hairdresser of the Year and Video production: Alexis Ferrer. (The event is sponsored by Revlon Professional who always put on a great show!)

Onto the important announcements of the seven categories! We have to wait to see the collections themselves but we are proud to see Danny Pato of New Zealand scooped International with a collection we have featured in our Summer 2021 edition. Here are the names with our congratulations:

    The jury 2021

    The professional jury that voted for the collections participating in this edition was made up of hairdressing dignitaries including Tribu-te global publisher Mike Vincent, Cesar Morales, Sally Brooks, Beatriz Matallana and Maeve O’Healy-Harte. All of them are renowned personalities of national and international hairdressing. In the Catwalk category, those in charge of evaluating the finalists’ proposals were Jesús María Montes-Fernández, Nuria de Miguel and Yolanda Sacristán, prominent personalities from the world of fashion and media.
