New Charlie Miller salon in Stockbridge
A familiar and revered name in our industry, hairdresser Charlie Miller built up a fabulous salon group based in Edinburgh and its environs. While Charlie himself has stepped away from the chair, his five-strong salon group continues to flourish and is run by his close family including sons Jason and Joshua, with daughter-in-law India alongside. Indeed the company behaves like an extended family of hairdressers, educators and service team – always a pleasure to be with and attaining and retaining very high standards. This is luxury hairdressing indeed. And now, the team has opened the doors to a sixth salon, based in Stockbridge, and this time there’s a beauty-ful twist.

Working in conjunction with award-winning local independent beauty salon Wo:mankind Beauty Clinic, this brand-new Charlie Miller site is the first to include beauty on its list of services. Meaning that not only can clients walk out with great hair, they can add fabulous make-up and nails into their day, too.
“Wo:mankind is a beauty business that is highly regarded in the city and the industry and, like us, it is a family fun business,” say Charlie Miller managing directors Jason and Josh Miller.
“As a teen, I worked as a Saturday girl at Charlie Miller and the standards set then were always a bar for me,” adds Lauren McGinty, Wo:mankind Beauty Clinic owner. “When the opportunity came about to set up a clinic in Charlie Miller, I knew it was one not to be missed.”
