The newest salon in the Blue Tit group has just opened in Walthamstow, E17. And again we celebrate the individuality of the client through salon design. Blue Tit Walthamstow reflects the industrial energy of this East London location, and the signature Blue Tit London aesthetic.
Individuality is key
Like all salons in the Blue Tit group, this is a creative hairdressing hub which expresses the character of the local neighbourhood. Equally, it speaks to the Blue Tit signature style of being a social, welcoming space where you can instantly disconnect from the world outside.
Remember, this salon group is a proud part of a B Corp-certified collective. The salon exclusively uses Oway—biodynamic, eco-sustainable haircare – and upholds the ethical and community values of the B Corp status. Manager Nina Leuthold has moved from Switzerland to pursue her hairdressing career. Alongside completing a postgraduate course at the Sassoon Academy, she first joined Blue Tit Crouch Hill. Beginning as a Level 2 stylist and colourist, Nina quickly progressed to Level 3 thanks to her natural ability to support teams and build strong client relationships.
Now leading the new Walthamstow salon, Nina brings both a loyal client base and genuine understanding of the are. She already lives locally and is closely connected to the neighbourhood’s creative, community-led energy.
Enjoy the salon
Browse the images. We love how colour palette softens the industrial vibe of the celling and building fabric. The tones of concrete and natural polished material on walls and flooring offer a blank canvas for the placing of key, coloured furnishings. A purple, hanging box grid over a central sky-blue styling table is inviting.
Rust coloured screening at the backwash offers privacy. Throughout, large windows bring in natural light and exuberance of mirrors bounces it around.
Individuality can bring cohesion. We admire how Blue Tit has created a clear brand voice and image, yet each premises is its own place.
