Oh how we love a good knees up and celebrating the birthday of Brooks & Brooks gives us good cause. After all, this is one of London’s most prestigious hairdressing salons and home to the current British Hairdresser of the Year, Sally Brooks.

Two decades since opening their doors, Jamie and Sally Brooks have grown a talented team of hairdressers (well, several times over actually when you think who they’ve nurtured), and remain the best of friends. So happy days to everyone in the @Brookshair gang – 20 years in the hairdressing business really is something to shout about!
Having met whilst working at the Trevor Sorbie salon in London, Sally and Jamie Brooks launched Brooks & Brooks in November 2001. They’ve created a whirlwind journey of success which includes education, awards wins, show work and session styling. Sally is a three-time winner (at the time of writing) of the title British Hairdresser of the Year, but Jamie and the crew are also champions. The Brooks & Brooks trophy cabinet is jammed with 30 British and international awards; and the business goes from strength to strength.

And there’s some exciting developments on the horizon too; “We have some exciting plans for 2022, with a new location for our salon due to open in the spring,” said Jamie.
