We love a first – especially if it’s brave, beautiful and in the interests of the hair industry! Happily we rocked up to the Salon Services Professional Hair & Beauty Awards on Monday night held in central London. Arguably the largest supplier in the hair and beauty industry UK, Salon Services has devised an awards contest for products and brands. In the inaugural year, they attracted hundreds of thousands to vote… bravo!
The Century Club in London’s West End provided a fun background for the awards presentations. Dressed in pink – the Salon Services iconic brand colour – with plenty of yummy cocktails, champagne and food fuelled our party spirit. Hosted by beauty entrepreneur, journalist and influencer Ateh Jewel, the gathered crowd was brought to attention and ready to applaud the winners (scroll down for names). We were also pleased to welcome the inspirational founder of Salon Services Charity Partner the Little Princess Trust, Wendy Tarplee-Morris. Standing with co-founder Phil Brace, Wendy shared her story and the amazing work that the Little Princess Trust does to give ‘hair and hope’ to thousands of children and young people. Wendy also recognised the huge role that hair professionals play in helping the charity offer wigs for those battling cancer.
