Oh we love a gathering and courtesy of hair and beauty distributor Sweet Squared, we’re delighted to put their presentation ‘The Event’ in our diary for 21 May 2023. Apart from plenty of product and inspiration (think Kevin.Murphy, Showpony and Sachjuan among others), we’re keen to see James Nicholson, global art director of hair at Kevin.Murphy head-lining on stage.

Kevin.Murphy
At The Event, you can browse the offering from Kevin.Murphy. The brand works with companies that use micro-cultivation, organic growing practices, or ecologically sound wild harvesting techniques when searching for ingredients. “I wanted to create a range that in the hands of a stylist would change the characteristics of the hair and also take hair trends in new directions.” Kevin Murphy himself. It’s a journey of discovery and you’ll have plenty to find out about sustainability and premium haircare combined. The brand’s colour, and haircare is sublime.
Showpony
You’ll also get a chance to see Showpony, a brand offering a unique blend of ethically-sourced Remy A+ human hair. “As a model in my younger years, I became acutely aware of the lack of quality hair extension products available within the industry”. Showpony founder and global CEO Stephanie Mason
Omniblonde
The Event is also excited to have Omniblonde on board, a brand that is dedicated to creating products that benefit and protect all types of blonde hair. Omniblonde’s products are designed to address the issues most important to blondes.
Sachajuan
Come along to see Sachajuan, a brand driven by the beauty of simplicity. Sachajuan thought haircare was becoming too complex and wanted to make things easier for stylists and their clients. “We select ingredients for purity and performance.”
Where and when
The Event will start at 17:00 on Sunday 21st May and will end at 17:00 on Monday 22nd, at The Fox, a state-of-the-art venue in Birmingham. As a place of inspiration and surprise, The Event offers access to future trends, the latest innovations, and hands-on training from experts. There will be workshops and demos with classes covering all industry sectors- hair, nails, and beauty!
The Event will be an opportunity to learn, network and celebrate our incredible industry, hosted by Leeds-based award-winning nails, hair and beauty distributor Sweet Squared.
