We’re just on month three, and already this year is shaping up to be a game changer! News reaches us of another exciting turn of events as renowned hair stylist and educator, Piero Gentile joins the Alfaparf Milano team in the UK as Technical Education Manager! Fabulous! We know Piero from his years alongside the maestro Anthony Mascolo at the TIGI Academy, so can’t wait to see what he adds to the already exciting Alfaparf offering. A big haul of creativity and serious educational know-how is for sure!
Hello Piero Gentile
So here’s the essential rundown: Piero spent the past 10 years working for Unilever at the London TIGI Academy with Anthony Mascolo and the International Creative Team. He certainly caught our eye as TIGI Academy Creative Director, where he was responsible for directing and overseeing the TIGI Academy creative collections and presented the TIGI World Release collections on stage all over the world including Dallas, Las Vegas and Berlin. During his time with TIGI he travelled extensively across Europe training the TIGI Collective Team in Belgium, France, Germany and Italy as well as delivering bespoke salon sessions for TIGI key accounts across the UK. So you’re getting our drift. He’s a seriously creative educator!
What the man says
“Hair is my passion; I specialise in technical cutting and creative education. My love and enthusiasm for my craft allows me to motivate and encourage stylists to fulfil their full potential, something I am excited to do at Alfaparf Milano. I hope to continue the success that I achieved during my time at TIGI and I look forward to working with my fellow ambassadors, Paul Stafford, Luke Benson and Richard Ashforth to grow the brand during this exciting time.”
In response, Lisa Marangon on behalf of Alfaparf Milano replies in kind: “Piero is a well-respected educator and is known for delivering exceptional education across the world. We are excited to have him as a key member of the Alfaparf Milano team and I know that he will do an exceptional job in working with our ambassadors in raising the level of education that we offer and helping to take the Alfaparf Milano brand to the next level.”
