Fellowship celebrates

In Uncategorized by Nicky

In order to stay relevant and attractive, like every other business in the industry, The Fellowship for British Hairdressing has had to be nimble the past couple of years. It’s vital that all hairdressing bodies continually reassess and redefine themselves with the changing times and the Fellowship is no exception. The challenge has been to retain the sense of community and promoting standards, whilst  competing with numerous initiatives from big brands, increasing digitalisation of communications, and Covid enforced Lockdown. All credit that during the salon closures in 2020/21, we saw a massive shift towards investing in social media and online projects during 2020/2021, and a focus on delivering education and opportunity to a wider audience than before. The inaugural celebratory Fellowship Luncheon (now an annual event) for winners of the 2021 Fellowship Awards bore testimony to its resilience. Bravo.

Fellowship for British Hairdressing Award Winners

Among the award winners, the lunch party was joined by the newly announced 2022 F.A.M.E team . A chance to mark the start of their exciting year of opportunities, which includes mentoring by some of the biggest names in British hairdressing and a photo shoot with their leaders Gary Hooker and Michael Young

Chancellor Ashleigh Hodges says: “This is the first time we have held a lunch for our winners, and it was important for us to celebrate their success, especially after the crazy 18 months we have had. It was lovely to see everyone and discuss some of the issues facing us all.
