Business Bounce-Back

In Uncategorized by Nicky

Finally! UK salons are getting back to business after months in yo-yo Lockdowns, and the excitement is real. With Welsh salons already open, the Scots are due to return next week, and English on April 12th, a new reality is knocking our doors. It’s fair to say that salon owners have walked a rough path, seeing their businesses shut for much of the past year; many struggled with business decisions from staff reductions to loan repayments, retaining clientele and more. So this transition won’t be thrills only – it will be challenging and overwhelming. Remaining constant and supportive, L’Oréal Professional Products Division has been visible throughout the pandemic offering a series of free guides packed with information essential to all hairdressers. The LPPD group now launches a new Business Bounce-Back 2021 Guide to help all salons, everywhere get back to business as smoothly as possible. And you can access this.

Business Bounce-Back Guide

The Bounce-Back Guide has been created to support the safe reopening of salons across the nation and is available for free now on the L’Oréal Access. It’s a handy resource for all salons covering a variety of topics including information: Communications advice; social media tips to drive salon business; a summary of Government support available to salons; and featuring upcoming education events on L’Oréal Access, as well as new learning modules, Salon E-Motion Webinars and Sustainability Savvy.

#HairProsKnowBest

To further support salons and highlight the bond between hairdresser and client, the Bounce-Back Guide includes the new salon bounce-back campaign #HairProsKnowBest. The #HairProsKnowBest campaign features four colourful social media illustrations, with caption suggestions. They’re designed for all salons to use and share, celebrating how hairdressers make their clients look and feel good inside and out. The social media assets are free for use on your social media accounts. The campaign also encourages clients to share their hair transformations using #HairProsKnowBest when returning to salon to show off their stylist’s amazing work. A great initiative from L’Oréal pointing out how essential hairdressers are and the impact of their work in people lives. Bravo!

“We want to wish everyone well in the safe reopening of salons and remain by your side in solidarity to help you and your teams come back stronger than ever, together” said Béatrice Dautzenberg, managing director at L’Oréal Professional Products Division UK & Ireland. “We are here to support all of our partners and our beloved hairdressing industry to bounce-back. The value placed on the skills, expertise, and experience that hairdressing provides – making people feel good inside and out – has never been so high. Salons and hairdressing services are essential; they offer creative and skilled physical transformations that empower people to reclaim their identity – something craved now more than ever. But they also offer an experience that supports emotional wellbeing through human touch and connection that now other Industry can provide.”

The UK Business Bounce-Back Guide is now available as a course on L’Oréal Access and you can enrol for free and download it by clicking HERE .
