We’re really impressed by the variety of looks produced at the Marc Jacobs SS20 show in New York for Fashion Week earlier this month. The hair looks, with a team led by Redken’s Global Creative Director Guido and Global Color Creative Director Josh Wood, were impressive – channeling extreme individuality and intriguingly, we spotted the return of the mullet, too.
Guido says: “There’s a cast of characters here at the Marc Jacobs show. Some from another era, some nods to the 70s, 80s, nods to now… it’s a collection of everything that Marc likes, really. We built the hairstyle, the colour, and the make-up around each of these distinct personalities. There are hats, there is colour, there are a lot of looks… there’s a lot of everything, in a way. There’s a bit of irony and humor in some of the looks as well. We’ve taken individualism to an extreme.” Nicely done! Here’s our pick of the looks:
