At the end of July, more than 750 hairdressing professionals packed into the famous Printworks venue in London to watch the live final of the UK Color Zoom competition. Guests wined and dined on cocktails and street food before watching a coloutastic show from Goldwell’s guest artists. The atmosphere was electrified with anticipation to find out who would be announced Gold, Silver and Bronze winners in each of the three Color Zoom categories. The theme for this year’s competition was ‘Remix’, with the brief to combine sharp contours with bold colours and strong contrasts. Each of the winning looks below certainly captured the ‘Pop Art’ vibe. We were impressed.
With no further ado, the UK Gold winners are:
• New Talent Category: Courtney Cairns, Headromance (below left)
• Creative Category: Lauren Roman Hanlon, Slunks (below centre)
• Partner Category: Richard Munslow, Toni & Guy Hemel Hempstead (below right)
Each of the UK winners will be take part in Global Zoom in Vienna in September, where they will battle against finalists from around the world to win a place on the coveted Color Zoom Creative Team and the impressive title of ‘Global’ winner should they be successful.
