We are really happy to see a new project from Anthony and Pat Mascolo that marries their passion for hairdressing once more with their eye for beauty and love of print. The couple presents the launch of their new publication ‘Infringe – An Anthropology of Hair’ and in so doing, remind us of their many years experience and impressive network of colleagues and collaborators. This first issue is a rich, 500-pages of imagery, comment and inspiration. It is wonderfully ad-free, making it a look-book as much as a magazine, with artworks, interviews and fashion editorial. We are told that it “truly represents Anthony and Pat’s vision to elevate hair to the status of art form, to celebrate hair’s place in our everyday lives and to give people the opportunity to own a beautiful physical object”. Mingling at the Mascolo’s private studio, the Library Space in Battersea, London, we were delighted to see a warm reception for this great endeavour. Keep a watch for it at stockists including: W.H. Smith, Wardour News, Selfridges, Charlotte Street News, Rosa Wolf, Berlin, Colette, Paris and Mondadori, Duomo, Milan.
