Equilibrium by Jude McEwan

Oh the drama! Stunning in black and white and fierce as hell, we love the heat and fire of this collection from Brit-abroad, Jude McEwan. Enjoy the imagery created by Jude – based at Toni&Guy in Perth Australia. Then browse her notes on the inspo:

Equilibrium: The inspo

Jude tells us that Equilibrium is a a collection inspired strongly by the modern-day challenge of knowing the role Artificial Intelligence (AI) should play in society and art. “The power of AI can allow us to create anything without boundaries at the click of a button,” she says. “But do we really understand the impact this seemingly limitless technology will have? Is the image you are looking at authentic and original or is it created artificially by a computer? Does it matter?”

In this striking imagery, Jude McEwen explores this concept through her collection of exaggerated shapes and unique gravity-defying hairstyles as a testament to the power of creativity and hands-on skill.  The extreme use of light and dark across the collection, is designed to show a powerful balance and elevated level of art. It should have you asking the question of ‘is it real?’

We love it!
