Our new regular feature ‘Me in 6 pix‘ is keeping us amused and intrigued. As the title suggests, we invite some of the most creative names in the industry to share with us their personal photographs, and explain why they’re important to them. The latest to oblige is Akin Konizi
Akin Konizi is part of the power trio (along with Clive Collins and Paul Simbler) who head up HOB Salons in the UK, and he is four times winner of the title British Hairdresser of the Year. He’s a big hitter in the global hairdressing industry, and a big character, too. He takes his hairdressing seriously, yet remains a funny, warm guy. Let’s find out more from his picture choice:

I had two posters on my wall as a young boy – one of George Best (above) and one of the Manchester United team

I’ve got a few, Vidal Sassoon for his pioneering ways; Anthony Mascolo (above) for his business acumen and photographer John Rawson for his creative vision
